Sunday, Jan 18 Day 1: Air Travel. Arrive to SJO in San Jose, Costa Rica. We will pick you up at the airport curb and whisk you away to your glorious private suite with a balcony and view. Dinner served there for you, to be enjoyed privately in your suite or corporately with retreat comrades, your choice.

Monday Jan 19 Day 2: You are transported moments away to our Retreat Space up the mountain where you are served a scrumptious breakfast, lunch and dinner, group style, interspersed between free time to peruse the garden grounds, sleep in the sunshine, birdwatch, pick exotic flowers for a floral arrangement, paint, journal, enjoy small group and 1:1 activities led by our Guest Healer/Yogi/Spiritual Director Irene Dunlop of Tend Soul Care and Rev Kelly Stack Scott, Certified Spiritual Director of Prevail Spiritual Direction.

Tuesday Jan 20 Day 3: Similar to Day 2 with various activity options and all meals provided and served at the retreat space.

Wednesday Jan 21 Day 4: Outing together to enjoy Turtle Island off the coast of Puntarenas. Opportunity for snorekeling, sightseeing, swimming, all meals cooked there for us, laughter, and just being together. Option to stay back at your private suite for solitude.

Thursday Jan 22 Day 5: Our final day together back at the Retreat Paradise Gardens with breakfast and lunch served together.

Friday Jan 23 Day 6: Travel-home day with a to-go breakfast provided. Transportation to airport included.

FAQs:

Q: What time should I arrive on January 18th?

A: Most flights arrive in the noon hour or the 7pm hour. Whenever you arrive we will pick you up and take you directly to your guest suite about 45 minutes up the mountian from San Jose.

Q: How much spending money will I need?

A: You will need only enough for perhaps tipping baggage handlers if you opt for their help getting you through customs in Costa Rica (US Dollars are fine to use), and for souvenirs upon your return back in the airport (Costa Rican coffee, etc) And, should you opt for solitude at your Air b n b instead of joining us on the outing, you may want to have groceries in your suite to prepare, or Uber Eats delivery. $ 10-100, tops. You will have access to a safe in your private suite.

Q: What should I pack?

A: Cotton or light layers

Hoodie sweatshirts or sweaters

Closed-toe shoes (hiking boots, water shoes, or hiking sandals)

Flip flops (for inside your private suite only; not best for Costa Rican terrain) Sunscreen or sunscreen clothing is a must!

Sunglasses, a hat/visor

Q: What weather should I expect while I´m there?

A: Temperatures range from 60°-78° F daily, with Costa Rica fully in its dry season in January.
